Victoria "Vee" Brown Obituary

Victoria Sadie Brown, affectionately known as Vee, was born Sunday August 30, 1997 in Charlotte, North Carolina to her parents; Victoria and Willie Brown. Vee was a beautiful, intelligent woman with a personality so bright, she lit up every room she entered. She was reliable, strong willed, and constantly thinking; she was always analyzing everything and wanting to improve herself.

Vee graduated in 2016 from South Salem High School with a passion for criminal justice. She desired to become a federal parole officer. Her goal was to help those in rehabilitation and returning to society. She knew the possible risks and the long road of work ahead, yet so strong willed she pursued her dreams. Vee was always thinking of others and how she could help.

On April 4th, 2019, Vee gave birth to her only son: Legend Ermias Hall. She was his protector, his safe space, his biggest fan. She was always thinking of him and ensured she provided him with anything he needed or wanted. Vee loved Legend beyond measure; and, just as there is no true warning for child birth, there is no preparation for a child to lose their mother. Vee carried Legend for nine months, cradled him in her arms for 3 years and now, she will hold him in her heart forever.

Vee worked for Kaiser Permanente and was transitioning to a higher role as Imaging Assistant. She was enrolled at Western Oregon University and expected to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in 2023. Education was important to Vee as it was essential in achieving her passion. We are so proud of Vee and all her hard work, dedication, and accomplishments.

Vee leaves behind her family who loved her and supported her through all obstacles she endured. As the light she is in everyone’s life, Vee was the light in her family - she was always being goofy, cracking jokes and putting a smile on everyone’s face. We love Vee so much and she will forever be missed.

Vee was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Yarborough Jr. Great/Grandparents: Alena Brown, Ophelia Baldwin, Sadie Brown, Willie Brown Sr., Aunts, and Uncles: Louanne Watson, Julius Watson, Corinne Brown, Louise Beasley, Pearly Mae Robinson, Julius Watson Jr.; Cousins: Isiah Simmons, Deon Williams, Rosie Lewis, Johnny Hudson Sr. Robert, and Darrel Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her parents Willie Brown and Victoria Brown; Her son: Legend Ermais Hall; Her Brothers and Sisters; Donte Davis, Lantoria Davis, Vernedia Ross, Mi’Kail Brown; Grandparents: James Watson, Linda Simmons, Cassandra Blocker, and Yvonne Lewis; Aunts and Uncles; Shirley Johnson, Laura Hillman, James Watson Jr., Cynthia Watson, Frederick Stocker, and Wanda Bryant; Nieces and Nephews; Keyson Winston, Donte Davis Jr., Dahki Davis, Tayveon Davis, Tatiyana Rae Lewis, D’Auni Davis, Sanyi Davis, D’Mitri Davis, Victor Jackson Jr., Seaun Davis, Carter Davis, Karson Davis, Eryn Davis, and Nasyi Hendricks; Godmother, Keitha Brown and best friends Diamond and Nicole; and a host of aunts & uncles, and cousins!
