Troy P. Mangum Jr. was born on Sept 15th, 1982, in Portland, Oregon, to Mother Lynetta Rochelle Mayfield and Father Troy Pernell Mangum Sr. He has Four Daughters, Destinee Mangum, Zalayah Foster Mangum, Kailah Mangum, and Kamiah Mangum. He also had two siblings, Brother William Todd Phillips Jr. and Sister Khadijah Mangum.
Troy was a father of four girls and graduated from Jefferson Highschool. He was a great cook and knew what he was doing too. He loved making music and watching movies or going to the park with his girls. Troy was very playful, and his laugh was contagious. Even with all he’s been through he was one of a kind and made sure his girls knew he loved them.
If you knew Troy, you knew where you could find him. Mlk was his stomping grounds, you could find him at the Mallory's, Johnny & Len Lens or 6th & Skidmore on the porch. Troy never went too far and stayed close to his childhood home. Upset or not Troy was smiling and through the toughest times his smile always shined bright. He was a big ball of energy always no matter which side you were getting of him.
He is also survived by a host of cousins, aunties, uncles, nieces and friends. Also, a great friend by the name of Garrett Perry. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Joseph Mayfield, JW Mangum, and his grandmother Laraine Mangum. He never said goodbye and he always said see you later, so this is Troys final see you later. His legacy of love, wisdom, and style will continue to inspire all who knew him.
