Sherry Constance Green was born August 19, 1956, in Portland Oregon to Lou Charles and Horace Green Sr. Sherry was a member of Mount Olivet Church. She attended Highland Elementary during her early years and graduated from John Adams High School. After high school Sherry worked at Barker’s Manufacturing Company for several years and later Crown Zellerbach Paper Company in production until retirement.
Sherry was a very caring and giving person, always willing to help when she could. She loved to dance when hanging out and partying with friends and family. If you knew Sherry, you knew that her favorite foods were collard greens, crappie, crab, and Chinese.
Sherry loved staying in contact with her family. If she did not hear from you, you would get a call from her to see about you and your family members. Sherry loved watching Chopped, the Price is Right and Kung Fu on TV.
Sherry was called Home to be with the Lord and to be greeted by her parents Horace and Lou Charles Green, sisters Debra and Pamela and grandparents Velma Moore, Valvarion and Jeffel Dawkins.
Sherry is survived by her son Deon (daughter in-love Andraea Green) of Jacksonville Florida. Sisters, Shelia Green and Kimela Green. Brothers, Horace (Pete) Green and Glenn (Red) Green. Uncles Delewis Moore (Helen) and Billy Green (Regina), Aunt Lou Evelyn Moore and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
