Shawn Lavette Williams

Shawn Lavette Williams, Sr. was born on April 15, 1969 to Cleveland and Joan Williams. He was the second oldest child. He loved his siblings so much, he wanted to be a big brother to all of them, even his older sister Tonja.

If you knew Shawn, you knew you’d see that dimple in his smile at all times. He was very involved in the lives of his family, whether near or far. He was always the best dressed in any room he stepped into.

Near the end of his life, he became ill. On August 28, 2024, he took his last breath in true Shawn fashion, surrounded by loved ones.

He leaves his parents, Cleveland Jr and Joan Williams; siblings, Tonja (Darwin), Teleada (John), Carla (Shanga) , Craig (Jessica); his son, Shawn Jr.; grandchildren, Shawn, III Silas, and Sage; and a countless of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.

Shawn joins his paternal and maternal grandparents, Cleveland, Sr and Lenora Williams and Walter, Sr and Evelyn Fuller; as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.
