Mary’s favorite memories of Ronald
Ronald has his ups and downs in life, but one of the thing I want to remember about my son was that he liked to give. He had won a suit, and gave money to his family, he bought himself a car; and he gave money to people he didn’t even know.
One of the best things I know that he did, was come to me, and say “Momma, I want to go down in Jesus name!” I said “okay” and went to my pastor. On the day he went to get baptized, the water was cold. I told Ronald the water was cold and couldn't be fixed. Ronald said “I don’t care. I’m going down in Jesus name!” He was ministered to about repentance before being baptized. He was helped in the pool because he had a bad hip. Pastor Young spoke to him, and he saw Pastor Neyland wave her hand over the water; and then she put her hand in the water. Ronald said the water instantly turned like a sauna. Pastor Young dipped him in the water, and Ronald walked out of the pool and his hip was healed. That was the happiest time I saw my son.
