Ronald James (Ronnie) Allen was born June 8, 1957 in Artesia, New Mexico to the parentage of Ruby Lee Clay Nary Allen and Monroe Allen ,Sr.
Ronnie attended school in Artesia, New Mexico and graduated from Bakery School. He attended Church of God and Christ in Artesia, New Mexico as well as in Portland, Oregon.
He had a passion for helping people. Ronnie used to work on all type of cars for all types of people. He loved to bake anything your heart desired. He could bake it.
Ronnie was fondly known for his witty character and his affectionate love for people. He love to sing and dance. He would often imitate James Brown and loved the O"Jays and the Isley Brothers. He LOVED singing to his big sister, Wanda, and his big brother, Willis. Sometimes he would sing so long - he’d put Willis to sleep.
One of his favorite sayings was, “I’m 39 and that’s how the girls like me”.
Ronnie was preceded in death by parents, Ruby Lee Clay Nary Allen and Monroe Allen, Sr.; four brothers, Phillip Earl Allen, Danny Earl Allen, Donnel Allen, and Monroe Allen, Jr.; four sisters, Arlene Allen, Connie Allen, Janis Allen, and Adrienne Perkins.
He leaves to mourn his passing three sons, Denard Allen, Fatae Allen, and La Ron Allen; sisters, Wanda Howard and Ola Mae Perry (Willie Perry); brother, Willis Nary (Alma); as well as a host of extended family and many friends.
