Perry L. Dinyain, age 34, was taken from his family far too soon. Born in Portland Oregon , Perry was the beloved son of Hollie Lee Dew and the late Franklin Enebi Dinyain.
Perry began his education at Martin Luther King Elementary School. After the family moved, he transferred to Kenton Elementary School, and later attended Ockley Green Middle School. He went on to graduate from Benson High School, where he was a proud and passionate athlete. Perry loved all sports and played many, but basketball held a special place in his heart. He even competed on a traveling basketball team during his high school years.
After high school, Perry remained close to home, living with his parents who lovingly spoiled him. He eventually stepped out on his own, working various jobs and continuing to enjoy life with a quiet strength and a warm spirit.
Perry was soft-spoken and kind. He was intelligent, loving, and had a deep devotion to his family. He loved sports, good food, and eventually learned to cook some of his mom’s cherished dishes.
Perry is survived by his loving mother, Hollie Dew; sisters Ebonie Smith and LaDonna Smith; nephews Bennie G. London III, Dalonte A. London, Jayson S. Gibson Jr.; niece Hadiya London. He is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin E. Dinyain; his twin brother, Terry Dinyain; great-grandmother Mary O.Johnson; and his beloved aunt, Bernistine Dew.
Perry’s life was a gift to all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
