Michael Eugene Lewis Jr.

Michael Eugene Lewis JR. was born in Portland Oregon to Michael E. Lewis SR. and MaryJo Lewis Pierce on May 31st, 1980. Michael graduated from Cleveland Hight School and attended Portland Community College where he was on the honor roll. As a child Michael could be found singing in the choir at Maranatha Church under Pastor Garlington where he also would do a rendition of Martin Luther King Jr’s “I Have a Dream” speech that would bring appreciative joy to those in attendance.

Michael was also chosen to participate in the national I Have a Dream Foundation providing him an opportunity to visit the White House in Washington, D.C. He discovered a passion and love of music at an early age. He loved to sing and pursued his passion through auditions, writing his own lyrics, spending time perfecting his craft in the studio creating music that he released to the public on the ITunes music platform.

Michael will always be remembered for his infectious laugh and sense of humor. He was loved by family and friends, and will surely be missed. He leaves to cherish his memories: his father Michael E Lewis Sr.; mother, MaryJo Lewis Pierce;  brother, Victor Pierce Jr.; uncles, Governor Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Kenneth Scott Sr., Sean Scott I, KC Scott Jr.and Richard Bonton;  aunts, Linda Mary Scott, Donna Lewis, Linda Jenkins and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
