Michael Jerome Johnson

Michael Jerome Johnson was born on August 9, 1968 in Portland, Oregon to the union of Mary Johnson and Anthony Graves. Michael went home to be with the Lord on December 23, 2021.  He was the little brother to Anthony Johnson.  

He attended Woodlawn, Jason Lee, and Highland grade schools, and then Grant High school. Later in life he obtained his GED.

Michael loved basketball and kids. He was a mild-mannered and soft-spoken man who loved others and was always willing to help out someone. Michael never gave his mother any trouble. He was a Dallas Cowboy fan and he loved the Portland Trailblazers.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Mary Kamara; father, Anthony Graves; brother, Anthony Johnson (Sandra); son, Marquis Johnson; uncles, Larry Johnson (Patricia), Curtis Johnson, Leone Johnson, and Herman Bryant.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Gary Bryant (Governor); grandmother, Wilmoth Sanders; daughter, Natalie Louise Johnson; and many relatives who have gone home to be with the Lord.
