Loving father, son, partner, grandson, brother and nephew

Michael’s life was tragically cut short on December 14, 2020 by a senseless act of violence. 

Michael was born in New York City but lived most of his life in Oregon.  He was an extraordinary father, son, partner, grandson, brother, nephew and friend.  Michael will be remembered by his family and friends for his huge and infectious smile, amazing sense of humor, loving and generous heart and his love of the outdoors. We extend our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to those who gathered to remember him and celebrate his life with a candlelight vigil on Saturday, December 19th in Columbia Park.

Michael is survived by his son, Axel; his mother, Rita; his father, Gary; his girlfriend, Chiara; his brother, Loren; his sister; Natoya; and many other loving family members and friends.  A celebration of his life will be held later this year, when we may gather safely again.

We pray God will give his soul eternal peace and a safe resting place in heaven.
