Micah Robinson Obituary

Micah Andre Robinson was born in Eugene Oregon, June 3rd, 1969. He had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. He was guaranteed to make people he knew, or just met comfortable in his presence. Micah graduated from Walnut Ridge High School in Columbus Ohio. He then went on to college at Ohio Dominican.  He was a member of the Army for two years and the Air Force Reserve for four years. Later on, he attended PSU (Portland State University) where he earned a degree in Physical Therapy with a minor in Social Work. Micah was a dedicated worker who excelled in personal communications.  His working life included ten years at the Oregonian Newspaper and various security jobs which included state welfare offices in Portland. Micah lived with his parents and sister first in Eugene and Portland, then in Columbus Ohio and later Alexandria Virginia. After his family moved back to Oregon in 1990 he decided to make Portland his permanent home.  He loved the Northwest. He was dedicated to family, such as his grandmother who resided in Portland in the 1990s and to friends in Portland and other areas of the country. Micah was extremely grateful that he had accomplished 18 years of sobriety this year, 2026, with the support of Miracles Club of Portland. He was preceded in death by his mother Paulette Hilton-Robinson and grandparents: Claudia M Shelby Owens and William Hilton of Mississippi, and Alyce G and Warren L Robinson Sr of Portland, Oregon. He is survived by his father, Rev Warren L Robinson Jr, sister Gabriella Robinson of New Mexico, uncle Douglas Buckhalter, aunt Carolyn Pring and uncle James Pring, aunt Maxine robinson of Mississippi, uncle James and aunt Valerie Robinson of Georgia, and a host of cousins on both sides of his family from Oregon, Texas, California and Louisiana
