Lisa D Miles

Lisa Darnell Miles was born on May 7, 1964 at Emanuel Hospital to Autry Gene and Eva Nell (Young) Miles. She peacefully passed from this life on October 10, 2020.

Lisa accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Dr. O.B. Williams of Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church. She sang in the Junior and Youth Choirs. She loved to sing. Her favorite song was “Going Up Yonder”. She loved her church. You would know that she was at church because of her praise.

She graduated from Madison High School and later attended Modeling School.

Lisa had a quick sense of humor. A natural comedian like her father, she made a joke out of everything.

Lisa loved all five of her children, she was so proud of her five grandchildren and proud of being their Grandma. You could see and hear her joy.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father Gene Miles; Grandmother, Maggie Garrett and Honey; Grandfather and Grandmother Charlie and Maggie Young. The love of her life, Jimmie Keller, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her legacy with love and affection her mother; Eva Miles, five Children; Gene-Anastia (Tim), Jimmie, Natasha, Shawntae and Eva Mariea Miles, five Grandchildren; Rickeil Jacobs, Jaida, Kaila, Jimmir and Kyo, Sisters; Peggy Miles Wilson (Strephone), Sheri Miles Babatunde (Isaac), God Sister; Brenda Kaye Calvin, God Mother, Lorene Wilder.

Now rest dear daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin aunt and friend. We will always love you and never forget what you mean to us.
