Leon Robert Joslin Jr. was born on April 4th 1960 in Wichita, Kansas to Helen Margret Joslin and Leon Robert Joslin Sr. He was the oldest of 4 children. Growing up Leon was also raised with his God-Mother Elizabeth Pimpleton-Barquet and through this family has 3 more siblings. As a child, Leon moved to Seattle, Washington where he went on to attend Garfield High School before finishing his education at Hutchinson Community College. At age 16 following his mother Helen's stroke, Leon moved back to Wichita, Kansas to live with his grandmother Vivian Joslin. There he met and married the love of his life, Marsha Yarbrough. From this union came 3 gifts from God, Lawrence Joslin, Shayon Miracle Joslin, and LeQuan Joslin. In addition to his 3 children, many
others saw Leon as a father figure. Leon and Marsha went on to live in Vancouver, Washington to raise their family.
Leon worked in the restaurant industry. Bringing a talent, skill, organization, and spirit of excellence that has taken businesses to the next level. His last project was The Plainsman Restaurant, where he worked at the time of his death. Here he met 2 special friends who have become family, Tommy Nendze and Stan Reeves. But Leon loved everyone he worked with and met through his job.
Leon was a hard worker, jokester, and loved to explore and teach. He was always a helping hand and ready for an adventure. You could always count on him to make you think, laugh, and take you somewhere beautiful.
He joins in Heaven his father, Leon Robert Joslin Sr.; his younger brother, Shawn Joslin (Godwin); nieces, Essence Joslin-Mende and Kaneiyah Yarbrough; and sister in-law, Sandra Yarbrough.
