Larry Dean Thomas

Larry was born November 17, 1953, to parents Lewis Thomas and Eva Miner in Santa Fe, New Mexico. God called him home April 22, 2025, in Portland, Oregon at the age of 71.

He attended San Diego High School. He worked for the Navy Base Supply/Janitorial Services. Larry enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and dancing. He was always dressed well, with everything matching.

Larry had a big heart. He was welcoming and treated friends like family. He was raised in church and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Thomas; brothers, Tyran Thomas and Gabriel Anderson; and sisters, Mary and Everlina Thomas.

Larry is survived by his mother, Eva Miner of San Diego, CA; three brothers, Lynn, Ronnie, and Miyo Thomas; two sisters, Donna and Torsha Thomas of Portland, OR; five children, Trilane Thomas (San Diego, CA), Larry Thomas, Jr. (San Diego, CA), Derak Thomas (San Diego, CA), Tiara Thomas (Las Vegas, NV), and Jabar Thomas (Wisconsin); and six grandchildren.
