Lakisha Marie Bowles

Lakeisha Marie Bowles was born October 17th 1983 in Portland Oregon to Darlene White and Earl Bowles Jr. Lakeisha gained her wings on January 21, 2024 at the age of 40. Lakeisha grew up in North Portland, specifically on Kerby Street with a host of family always surrounding her. From her Portland roots to the haven of her grandparent’s home, she unfolded her talents in
basketball, track, choir, dance and pep-squad while attending Boise Elliott Elementary School, Harriet Tubman Middle School and Jefferson High School.

Lakeisha showed love and care for others in a way that made each person feel special. Her laughter, a melodic echo in the hearts of all who knew her, turned ordinary moments into cherished memories, filled with joy. A dance floor enthusiast, Keisha brought infectious energy to every party and reveled in each dance battle, leaving an indelible mark with her comedic flair and roasting wit.

As a licensed hair stylist her skilled hands in hairstyling wove bonds with clients who became an extended family, connected by the threads of her unique braid styles. A trendsetter in style and a culinary artist, she seasoned her creations with the warmth of her ever present smile.

In motherhood, Keisha found love and fulfillment embracing her role with grace and passion. Christyle Skaggs, Dominic Nudo Jr., Malakhai Nudo and Kuzih Nudo, her cherished children, will now carry the flame of her enduring love.

Lakeisha was preceded in death by her father Earl Bowles Jr.; sister Yolanda Bowles; Grandparents, Earl Bowles Sr. and Rosie Bowles, Armster and Portie White; Uncles Samuel White, Armster Ronnie White, Anthony White and Richard Jenkins; beloved aunts Portia Moye, Jacqueline White, Janice Mahone, Patricia Wells.

Lakeisha’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her mother Darlene White; her children Christyle, Dominic, Malakhai and Kuzih; siblings Iesha, YaVonne, Deandros, Tracie, and Kim (Jeff); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a vast circle of friends.
