Remembering the life of Jaime Alexander Peterson, born to both his father, the late Minister Michael Wayne Peterson and his mother Louetta Peterson on February 7th, 1986 in Portland, Oregon. Jamie was the youngest sibling out of four; Michael Wayne Peterson II, Brandon Lamar green, and his sister, Loretta Michelle Peterson. At a very young age Jaime had a love for music, comedy, and dance. Back then you can find him moonwalking in the kitchen, cracking jokes with his brothers, and banging on his chest or tables around the house or at school to make beats. At the age of seven he got baptized at charity Mission Baptist Church in Los Angeles California. Unfortunately that mess didn't work, so we dunked him again in some holy water in 1998 at a church called "Word of Life" in Palmdale California. It was here where he began to play the drums, he sang in the choir, and was also an usher. In school he also played the drums with his schools band and had a love for basketball, and joined a few teams. And you would often find him running past you as fast as a freight train, but he wasn't on the track team. 99% of the time it meant that he pissed someone off and had to flee the scene!
His first year of high school he moved back to Portland Oregon with his father Minister Michael Wayne Peterson. It is here where he really began to put his pen to paper and his thoughts he turned into lyrics. Jay's music and songwriting started off as his Outlet but quickly became his passion. Dropping cuts such as a "place called Po", "Pictures", "say bleezy", "All I dew", "Blezzy in the house" and "Emotional suicide" to name a few. Jay's smile can light up a room, and it was impossible to stay angry at this Natural Born comedian. Jay shook P town with his music, Love, and laughter. And now he's making Portland rain with his passing away. Jaime leaves behind four beautiful children, Ziail, Javon, Jayleona, and Major. He is preceded in death by grandfather Bishop U.V Peterson on his father side, grandfather Frederick Cleveland on his mother side. His grandmother Lucinda Green, a niece, Amaya Peterson and nephew Mykel Peterson. And he is survived by those that remain; grandmother Floral Ann Peterson; family, Michael Wayne Peterson the 2nd, Khovonte Peterson, Anasya Peterson, Mykayla Peterson, Joseph Alexander Peterson, Zechariah Nayjon Peterson, Lariah Lanay Peterson Morris, Isaiah Mykel Peterson Morris. As well as a whole host of aunties, uncles, and cousins. Jay was a light in a dark place, and he was the calm before the storm. And now we lay him down to rest while holding on to his Joy, love, and hilarious sense of humor. Things will never be the same without you. Rest in love, as we cherish your contagious Joy, laughter, and handsome smile. You will be missed but never forgotten, Bleezy up forever!
