Jacqueline Elvira Belgrave-Neal

Our beloved Jacqueline Elvira Belgrave-Neal was born on August 20, 1961,  in Portland, Oregon at Emanuel Hospital to George and Mary Belgrave. She
attended Humbolt Elementary School, and graduated from Jefferson High School . Where she was known as a track star.

Jackie cherished her time with her family above all else. She frequently enjoyed family trips to Richland for fishing and was ever helpful during the fish fries that followed. She always seemed to have luck on her side, finding herself winning all the money at the card table. When she wasn’t playing  cards, baking, or cooking, Jackie devoted herself to her 5 granddaughters. Her presence nestled among her babies, watching cartoons in the living room and her room will remain a fond memory for all who knew her.

Born and raised in the church, Jackie’s life was deeply intertwined with her faith . Inspired by her mother Mary’s example, she embraced missionary work with the same dedication. Along side her late husband, Robert Neal, she served faithfully as a deaconess, embodying love, Compassion and unwavering commitment to the Cornerstone Community Church of God in Christ.

She will forever be loved and missed by her uncle, Freddie and Aunt Luella Mazique, two brothers; Malcolm Matthews and Norman Matthews Sr., one sister, Deborah Belgrave and two special sisters; Devida Matthews and Debra Bagley. Three children Howard Jenkins Jr. (Brittney Jenkins) Javari Harris, and Antoinette Belgrave . Five grandchildren; Jaala, Jada, Laiyah, Jaiyana, and Brooklyn. Along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
