Gwen was born in Portland, Oregon on June 9, 1987, to Gerald and Robin Ferrell. She attended Boise Eliot/Humboldt Elementary School, Ockley Green Middle School, Madison/ Helensview High School and Portland Community College.
Gwen was a devoted mother, daughter and sister who created many lifelong memorie with her family that they can forever cherish. Growing up Gwen was a part of the drill team, choir and usher board. She loved to cook, travel and spend time with family. After high school she worked at Central City Concern and Multnomah County as a caseworker. In addition, she was one of the founders and board secretary at Ebony Collections CDC. She was a lead champion of their Covid-19 response team. She was also one of the main contributors to Ebony Collections communities healing process of growth and development.
Gwen is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Ferrell; her grandmother, Gladys Ivory; and her grandfather, Hoover Ivory. She is survived by her mother, Robin Ferrell; significant other, Donald Green; her children, Curtise’ Waters (Curtis Waters, Khyree Green (Donald Green); brothers, Isaac Bolds Jr., Marcus Bolds Sr., and Ernest Evans; as well as a host of uncles, aunts , nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
