Obituary

Tommy Lee (Gertrude) Hanson was born in Elberta, Alabama to Ada Gaston and Tom Brown on December 24, 1945. On February 16, 2023, Tommie Lee was called home.

In 1955 Tommie Lee was 10 years old when her mother Ada and stepfather Jessie Logan moved to the Portland area. Tommie Lee attended Jefferson High School from 1960-1962.

On April 1, 1962, she married Herbert Hanson, and they had 3 beautiful children, Inez Hanson, Ina Hanson, and Joseph Hanson. Tommie Lee later had 2 more beautiful children, Stephanie William and Affainte McCuff.

Tommie had a love for cooking big meals for her family and friends. She also had a love for good music. She loved being around all her family and friends as often as she could.

Tommie Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Ada Logan; father, Tom Brown; stepfather, Jessie Logan; grandmother, Mable Walden; and her sweet little girl, Ina Hanson.

Tommie Lee is survived by 3 daughters, Inez Hanson, Stephanie William, Affainta McCuff; her son, Joseph Hanson, 12 beautiful grandchildren; and 23 beautiful great grandchildren; her dear friend, Debra Mitchell; as well as a host of family and friends.
