Eileen Tuttle Obituary

Eileen Wallen Tuttle, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025 in Vancouver, Washington.  Born on March 9, 1949, in Portland, Oregon, to Betty Jeanne Zoeter and Charles Erwin Wallen.

Eileen was a devoted mother, and her family was the center of her world. She married the late Rodney Owen in 1969 and they welcomed their son, Troy Erwin Owen.  In 1970, they welcomed their daughter, Tracy Lynne Owen.  Though the marriage ended, Eileen and Rodney were able to remain friends until his passing in 2003.

In 1981 she married Ronald Tuttle and became mother to his son Ronald Tuttle II.

She attended Springfield High School in Springfield, Oregon and graduated from Cleveland High School in Portland, Oregon.  Eileen's education and business school training led to a long and respected career as the Calendar Secretary for the Multnomah County Court System.

Beyond her work life, Eileen possessed a great love of animals.  She loved horses and loved and cared for many dogs and cats during her time on this earth.  Her love of rescue animals was a testament to her caring nature.

Eileen was a determined and resilient woman who persevered through life's challenges. She was deeply loved by family and friends and will be profoundly missed.

She is survived by two sons Troy and Ron, daughter Tracy, and six grandchildren Benjamin Owen, Samantha Owen, Vanessa Tuttle, Trey Tuttle, Emily Eden and Roman de Jongh, one great grandchild and a host of family and friends
