Edwin Lashawn Williams Jr.

Edwin LaShawn Williams Jr “Vegas” was born on November 24 1994 to Edwin LaShawn Williams Sr and Kennita Yvonne Pankey. Edwin attended Ollie Ditweiler Elementary in Las Vegas and Fort Western High School where he met his only daughter’s mother. His daughters name is Sienna Williams who turned age 8 on October 13 2020.

Although Edwin did not graduate high school, he was on a fast track to re-evaluating his life and had made goal to himself and his mom that he would return to school and complete what he started. Edwin worked various jobs in the Vancouver Clark County area in construction and factory industry. He loved skateboarding, back flips and Rap music. But what he liked most was “talking mess”. His favorite food was “food” since there was nothing he did not like to eat. He was spunky, charismatic and a very loving person that left an impression on everyone he knew. He really loved his family; but his favorite loves are his daughter and his mother.

Edwin leaves to remember him: Father; Edwin LaShawn William Sr; Mother, Kennita Yvonne Baker (Pankey); Step Father; D’Sean M Baker. Grandparents: Sharon Hart, Alton Williams, Ron and Mable Williams and Tamara Baker. Proceeded in death Grandmother Cynthia Pankey. GreatGrandmother: Willie Mae Hart. Brothers: DeVonte Pankey “Tae Tae”, and D’Sean Baker Jr Sisters; LaShay Williams and Arienna Laighlers all of Portland. Edwin had many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and associates who all will miss his infectious smile forever. 

Edwin is absent from the body but will remain in our hearts and minds forever.
