Dale Pemberton Obituary

Dale Alexander Pemberton born on January 15, 1957, to William and Margaret Pemberton in Portland, Oregon.

Dale loved spending time with his family and hosting family gatherings, playing golf, and watching the Oakland Raiders, and New York Yankees year after year in hopes of a championship win.

In previous years he taught Bible classes at NW Bible Training Center, shared messages at the Portland Rescue Mission, and passed out small testaments at the local schools with the Gideon Ministry. Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic he was also a part of a life changing Mt. Olivet Baptist Church men's group that he cherished.

Dale enjoyed his work as a small business owner of Jubilee Installations, a flooring installation company. He enjoyed assisting clients with their flooring product choices and providing them with good old fashion customer service. He did not pride himself of his own skills, but that of his subcontractors, always crediting Gustavo's 22 years of gold star installation skills, as well as Derek and Stacey, for the business’s success.

Dale loved his immediate and extended family very much. He prayed for his son's to be men of strong character, committed to family, and to love the Lord. He also prayed for health, relational healing, and success for his extended family and friends.

Painful to us how we lost our Patriarch, on January 6, 2023, we were truly blessed to have him in each of our lives.

We are fortunate to have experienced what a good son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend looks and feels like, and we will forever hold this in our hearts.

Dale's favorite scripture was Psalm 18:16-19.
“He reached down from on high and took hold of me: he drew me out of deep waters.
He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.
They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support.
He brought me out into a spacious place: he rescued me because he delighted in me.”

He is survived by his wife Cynthia, mother, son Alec (Adam), son Aaron, son David, son Daniel (Gabriela), son Jonah (Jade), granddaughter Isabella, brother Joel (Sherry) Pemberton, Marc Pemberton, Sister Meg (Dan) Cockburn and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
