Cathleen L. (Foley) Mazour

Cathleen Leah Foley Mazour, 82, of Vancouver, WA died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 26, 2020.

Cathleen was born in July 1938, the youngest of eight children, to Michael and Leah Foley in Worcester, MA.  Her father died in 1944 and the Foley family struggled to survive and stay together.  Cathleen grew up to be a beautiful and admired student at Commerce High in Worcester before getting married and moving to Portland, OR to raise her family of four children.  During her years in the Portland area, Cathleen had a thriving business career as Vice President of Sales for Pacific Rim Veneer Corporation and co-owner of Harbor Graphics.

In 1988, Cathleen married the love of her life Portland native Rodney Mazour, and the two enjoyed traveling the world.  Together, they were active members of the Portland community through the Portland Opera Guild, The Royal Rosarians, Vancouver Symphony and many other benevolent organizations.  Her friendship, compassion, and inner and outer beauty will be remembered.

Cathleen is survived by her husband Rodney, daughters Pamela Beckman of Vancouver, WA and Heather Martin of Portland, OR Susan (Alan) Larson of Bothell, WA and son Scott Martin.  She was also worshipped by her grandchildren Austin Hauth, Jaclyn Gilliam, Hannah, Claudia and Rowan Johnson, Katelyn, Christina, Bryce, Jacob Larson, Erin (Scott) Schwartz of Spokane, WA, Emily (Steve) Bellefleur, Angus and (Emily) Burke, Alasdair Martin as well as great grandchildren William Schwartz, Grayson and Olivia Gilliam.  She also shared her love of Rodney’s children, Guy, Angela, Kenneth and Michael Mazour.  In addition, Cathleen is survived by her sister Barbara Foley Butler of Boise, ID and her four cherished puppies.

A private family service will be in in February.
