Brian Michael Vann, also known as “BV”, beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, nephew,
cousin, and friend was called home on December 21, 2025, at the age of 56.
BV was born July 25 th , 1969, in Portland, OR to Rita Vann and Perry Lambert Jr. He
attended Boise Elementary School and graduated from Wilson High School.
BV was a devoted father and provider. Most of his work career took place at Embassy Suites,
Holiday Inn, and Legacy Emanuel as a sous chef.
BV was very uplifting with a fun sense of humor. He loved slapping dominoes on the table,
family gatherings, and preparing birthday cookouts for his daughters, Brinisha and Zalika.
He was a deep thinker and treasured meaningful conversations. Whenever you needed a
friend he was there for you. He loved to travel especially to Jamaica. Most of all he was a life
long San Francisco 49er Fan.
Brian was preceded in death and reunite with:
Grandparents: Clearance and Dorothy Vann, Perry Lambert Sr. and Minnie Mae Jackson.
His Aunts: Linda Willis, and Sheila Vann. Great Aunts: Anna Collins, Helen Hill, Lonzella
Lambert, and Earlene Lambert-Spears. Uncle: Danny Lambert. Great Uncles: Harold
Runnels, Nathan Stewart Jr., JD Lambert, and Marvis Lee Lambert. Cousins: Sharveil Willis,
Stanley Jr., and Ladonnis Vann
Brian leaves many behind to cherish his memory…
His two daughters: Brinisha and Zalika Taylor. Two Granddaughters: Faith and Royalty
Murray. Mother: Rita Vann. Father: Perry Lambert Jr. Brother: Eric Vann-Allen. Partner:
Tina Vonsalzen. Aunts: Cheri Jones, Monica Vann, and Linda Lambert-Spurlock. Uncle:
Dennis Lambert. Cousins: Regina Vann, Maquinda Jones, Keyona Davis, and Lamont Davis.
He also leaves behind his brothers, sister, and cousins in Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Dallas,
TX, Milwaukie, WI, Monticello, AR, Muskogee & Tulsa OK, Omaha, NE, Warner Robbins,
GA, and Ft. Worth, TX.
