Betty Louis Hannah born November 12th 1947 in Slater, Missouri to the parents of Linda E. Hockaday and James C. Terry Sr. Betty passed away peacefully on September 29th 2025 at the age of 77. Education: Central High School, Davenport, Iowa Black Hawk College - AA Marketing & Management Professional - License Practical Nurse (LPN) retired 2007 In her lifetime, Betty was defined by her devotion to the Five F Words: Family, Friends, Flowers, Food and Fun. She loved spending time with her friends and family and spending time in her favorite recliner crocheting. She spent her free time reading, watching t.v. and creating one a kind crochet projects. Betty was an avid gardener who loved tending to potted plants and flowers in her down time. Betty’s joyful spirit was evident to all who knew her. Betty had a kind and generous heart. She loved to volunteer to make decorations and hang holiday displays and to sit on various committees whenever possible. This was her way of staying involved. Even though on a fixed income. Betty was a proud donor to numerous charities and organizations that benefited people from all walks of life. Betty will be remembered and missed by many groups and people. If there was one word to describe Betty it would be “Active.” Betty was heavily involved in groups at the Community for Positive Aging (formerly Hollywood Senior Center) her weekly trip to Hayden Island to crotchet with friends was a highlight on her calendar for sure. Mostly Betty enjoyed spending time socializing with friends at her apartment complex in Portland. Betty is survived by her son Charles Hannah (Corey) and his wife Michelle and her grandchildren Timothy, Khari-Malik and Kalonji. Great Grand Children: Meyziah, Kai, Lennox, Adonis and Lotty. Along with her sisters Lezlie, Patti, Sherri and brother James (Jr). She was preceded in death by both parents and sister Bernice. Along with Husband/Divorced Robert Hannah and son Spencer Hannah.
