Obituary

Anthony Eugene Trevino, 60, of Portland, Oregon, unexpectedly passed away on March 16th, 2023, Anthony was born August 5, 1961, to parents Anita Trevino (mother) and biological dad Ezekiel Mack in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family moved to Phoenix, Arizona for a short period of time, and bounced back between Oklahoma and Arizona until 1971, when the family permanently migrated to Portland, Oregon.

During Anthony’s time in Arizona, he got baptized at the Church of Living God. Anthony was a spiritual person who had a family-oriented personality, and a wholesome heart. Anthony’s dad, Ezekiel, passed away shortly after the move to Portland. Eventually his mother, Anita, married Andre Allen (stepdad), and Anthony immediately accepted him into his family.

Anthony always tried to have close bonds with every member of the family, especially, his brothers and kids. His brothers, Rufus Washington, Christopher Trevino (wife: Kristen Trevino), Patrick Trevino (wife: Michelle Trevino), and Byron Washington (wife: Nicole Trevino) and Anthony had such a close tight knit relationship. There was no chance anyone or anything could tear it apart. They used to listen to old school music and kick back while catching up on anything and everything life had to offer and no matter what the occasion, Anthony was always there. The kickbacks. The barbeques. The holidays. The birthdays. The good times and the bad times. Anthony was there.

After Anthony attended Madison High School, he graduated with his GED in 1981, and then joined the United States Military. He served our country for 2 years before receiving an honorable discharge. He spent his time after serving, working odd jobs but dedicated most of his time to being a loving dad to his kids Kyron Trevino, Antonio Trevino, Alonzo Trevino, Tylise Brown, Dominique Trevino, Angelo Trevino, Javontae Trevino, and Shavontae Kelly. His whole family and his girlfriend, Maricela Stewart, was his world and his motivation to be the best version of himself. Anthony is going to be missed by so many.

He leaves behind uncle, Chessell Guines from Tulsa, Oklahoma; and great auntie Theolia Christy from Alta Loma, California. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, grandkids, 2 great grandkids and lots of family and friends.
