Andre Odell Taylor

Andre (“Dre”) Odell Taylor was born on July 6, 1970, in Portland, Oregon to Andrew
and Verena Taylor. He is preceded in death by his dad. Andre, the youngest of three
sons, graduated from Jefferson High School in 1988, where he returned years later
to coach his favorite sport, baseball.
He loved being Sedrik’s “Pops” and was incredibly proud of the man he has become.
He was very dedicated to his family and friends. Andre loved traveling with his wife
and dreamed of moving to Hawaii. He adored and doted on his baby girls, puppies
Jaz and Jemma. Andre was larger than life, mischievous, patient, charming, fiercely
protective, quietly funny, and he had a giant heart with an endless capacity to love.
He is survived by his wife Karin Taylor, son Sedrik Taylor (wife Clare), mother
Verena Taylor, brother Duane Rogers, brother Robert Taylor (wife Carrie), Sedrik’s
mother Tanya Rae Witt, and a host of other relatives and friends.
