Xavion was born on February 27th, 2004 to DaVonne Coleman and Antoine Moore in Portland, Oregon at Emanuel Hospital where he weighed in at 9lbs, 1oz. Xavion attended Mill Park Elemenetry and Floyd Light middle school before his family moved to Vancouver, Washington in 2016. After moving to Vancouver, Xavion attended Discovery Middle School and finished most of his freshman year at Hudson's Bay High School before he began his fight with cancer. After relocating to Vancouver, his mother was concerned that Xavion would be sad about separating from his Portland area friends, but that wasn't the case at all. She quickly learned that Xavion could make friends everywhere he went. Xavion was an easy going, laid back kind of guy who cared about everyone around him. Xavion was very active and loved sports, football in particular. Xavion also played and excelled in basketball and had a great time on the track team.
When those close to Xavion were down or sad, he would do anything he could to lift their spirits. Xavion definitely knew how to make you laugh. He was funny and a fun guy to be around. He was very popular at school. His classmates loved to be around him and his teachers would always report how much of a natural leader he was.
Family meant everything to Xavion, he loved his brother, Antoine and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his cousins, sharing great memories riding bikes at the beach and having good times at many other family gatherings. Although Xavion fought through his condition, he wanted to make sure everyone else was taken care of, especially his mother. He never stopped asking her, "Mom, are you good!" During a recent family vacation to Hawaii, Xavion wanted to make sure his mother was taken care of, and encouraged her to take time for herself.
Xavion leaves behind his parents DaVonne and Robert Harris, father Antoine Moore, brothers Antoine and Antonio, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, teammates and friends!!
Xavion was a kind, loving, energetic, thoughtful and witty young man who will never be forgotten and forever loved!
