Sonja Rae Barber

Sonja Rae Barber was born October 11, 1965 to Mary L. Barber and Earl Champion in Commerce, Texas. Sonja worked in housekeeping.

God called her home June 25, 2019. Sonja is survived by her mother Mary L. Johnson. Her children, Eshawn L. Chase, Shawntae R. Barber, and John S. Weems. Her grandchildren, Aniyah Clara Marie Hardy and King Cecil Hardy. Siblings, Paula R. Barber-McGee and husband Jeffrey D. McGee, Gayron C. Barber and his wife Tiffany Barber, Ruthie C. Williams and
husband Shawn L. Williams. As well as Derick T. Barber, Domiko L. Barber, Aunts Rhonda Jones of McKinney, Texas and Sheila Barber of Seattle, Washington. And of course, twelve nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
