Rosetta Bryant, lovingly called "Skeeter", was born to Henry Bryant and Lucile Bryant on August 29th, 1949 in Portland, Oregon. She attended Elliott Elementary and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1967. After graduating from high school, Rosetta started working for the US Department of Veteran Affairs and retired after 32 years of service.
In 1976, Rosetta met the love of her life, James "J.J." Jackson. Rosetta and James had one daughter, Kizzie Louetta Jackson, who was their sunshine.
Rosetta will be deeply missed by her friends and family. Rosetta had a real sense of humor and never missed an opportunity to crack a joke or tell you about yourself. She enjoyed playing computer games, social media, and talking with her friends, Emlyn, Mable, Joyce, and Don. Interacting with her grandkids was the highlight of her day.
Rosetta leaves to cherish her loving memories, daughter, Kizzie Louetta Jackson; siblings, Floyd Bryant, Mary Lue Bryant, Henry Bryant, Dorothy Bryant, John Bryant, Jaycee Bryant, Anita Bryant, and Rita Bryant; grandchildren, Edward LaMarr Darlington, Faith Rosetta Johnson, and Elijah JayJohn Darlington; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will never forget her. Rosetta is preceded in death by James Edward Jackson, and her parents, Henry and Lucile Bryant.
Rosetta, go ahead and rest. We will see you again.
