R.D. Mitchell

Mr. R.D. Mitchell was born May 12, 1933 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Henry Mitchell and Mrs. Flettie Roy Mitchell. R.D. departed from life on December 8th at 7:30 am 2019.  R.D. Mitchell was drafted into the Army  on April 23rd 1953 and served his country for 25 years, as well as being a 33rd Degree Mason.

R.D. married Earnestine Fields and to this union, had two children; a son, James Mitchell and a daughter, Tracy Corbett.

Preceding him in death are his brothers; James Mitchell, Henry Mitchell, Bennie Mitchell, Roy Mitchell, John W. Mitchell and John Allen Mitchell.

He is survived by siblings; Wilbert Mitchell, Jimmie Lee Mitchell, Margaret Ruth Mitchell  and William Horace Mitchell;, his wife; Earnestine,  his two children; James and Tracy, six grandchildren; Michelle, Christopher, Calvin Jr, Simone, Ryan and Travin and a host of nieces, nephews, and  friends.
