Njuguna F. Githere was born on December 5th 1959 in Nairobi, Kenya, the second of seven children born to Aloise and Jacinta Wanjiku Githere. According to his sister Paula Nduta Githere, he was described as a humble, down to earth, and outgoing adolescent; involved in but not limited to badminton, soccer, and traveling. He also had a fond interest in music of many genres. Decades later, at the age of thirty, he decided to embark on a path to pursue further education in the United States of America; and obtained a degree at OIT in electrical engineering.
Njuguna & Sonya were married in 2002, and together they had two daughters. Since earning his masters degree in electrical engineering, Njuguna has worked at ADP and Thermo-Fischer Scientific, formerly known as FEI and alongside Intel for twenty years; his co-workers and peers describe him as humble, intelligent, and outgoing. Njuguna is the father and stepfather of daughters, Wanjiku “Shiku” Njuguna and Renesa Aiyana L. Nunez-Norales, granddaughter Aiyana Valentina Nunez-Tucker, and son-in-law Franklin Nunez of whom he loved tremendously.
