Gwendolyn Moss Obituary

Gwendolyn Moss passed on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the age of 96.

Gwendolyn was born on February 11, 1923 to Ernestine Fuller and Charles Strothers of Tacoma, Washington and she was one of seven children.

Gwen retired from Good Samaritan Hospital where she worked for 23 years as a lab assistant.

She was a beautiful, free-spirited woman who was loved by many.

Preceding her in death were her son William A. Denton Jr.; brothers, Charles and David Strothers; sisters, Katherine Webb, Hazel Belvine and Marilouise Allen.

Left to mourn is her three children Judy Pickens (Hershel), Charles Strothers Denton (Raydell) and Cecelia Louise Payne all of Portland, Oregon; brother, Wilbert Strothers of Washington; grandchildren, Daryl Hudson, Mario Denton, Kimball Davis, Sheba Wyatt and Danielle Pritchett; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

We love her and will miss her. She always had our backs.
