Gerald Marshall Sr. Obituary

Gerald Wayne Marshall was born November 25, 1944 in Portland, Oregon to the late Frances Joyce Cole and Richard Thomas. He was later adopted by Sylvester Marshall.

He attended Central Catholic High School and graduated from Jefferson High School. After high school Gerald graduated from University of Portland. Some of Gerald’s jobs included working for the Scappoose Police Department and security with Pony Express, Express Messenger, Cascade Security, and part time with Mt. Olivet Security & facilities.

When he wasn't service and protecting, Gerald loved to travel, some of his favorite places included Lincoln City, and Las Vegas. Gerald was always into road trips and enjoying life or spending some quality time with friends drinking coffee at Denny’s. He was also a very giving person who loved to help anyone he could.

He is preceded by his parents, Richard Thomas, Frances Joyce Cole and adoptive father Sylvester Marshall.

Gerald is survived by wife, Mary L. Marshall; sons, Gerald W. Marshall Jr., Wayne L. Marshall and Jason D. Marshall (Sara); grandsons, Aaron Marshall, Dominque Marshall and Roosevelt Marshall; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
