Franklin D Millner Jr was born February 3, 1961 in Portland Oregon. He attended Vernon Elementary School and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1979. He then went on to attend Portland State University where he received a degree in business.
Frank was all about Business. He began working at McDonald’s where he became District Manager. He married his best friend Zelda in 1986 and he continued to work in Portland until 1993 when he was offered a position as Regional Manager in Chicago. Frank always had a goal in mind to help young people have a better chance in life by assisting in job opportunities and ongoing education for youth needing extra guidance. He returned to Portland in the early 2000s and began working as an advocate for at risk youth with the Portland Public School system.
Franklin loved to travel and loved spending time with his family at family events. He also attended Blazer’s games, concerts at the casino, and all-star football games. Frank attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church and New Song.
Preceding Franklin in death is his father Franklin D Millner Sr, and his brother Michael E Millner.
Franklin leaves to mourn his mother Norma Jean Millner, brother Darryl W Millner Sr, sisters Rhonda Parker, Angela Millner, and Katherine Williams, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
