Edward Johnson

Edward Johnson was born on Feb 9, 1932 in Shreveport, Louisiana  by a mid wife to his parents Rose Lee Tymes and Oscar Johnson Sr. Edward was one of ten sons and six daughters. He was closest with his sister Leazer , they were like two peas in a pod.

He was married to Gladys Jones on June 1974 until her death on Aug 26, 1990,he also had five sons and  three daughters during his lifetime.

Edward was a great cook , he loved fishing, watching his jeopardy and western movies especially the "Duke" John Wayne .

He was a very funny, loving, stubborn, witty and would give the shirt off his back and last dollar to help someone kind of man. He was loved and is loved by everyone that has or had met him during his lifetime. He was a member of Grace Covenant Fellowship along with family and friends.  Edward has plenty of nieces and nephews, grand kids, great grand kids that loved him also.

He leaves to cherish his memories; children, Edward II, Alaberry, Reggie, Katherine Johnson, Carrie Johnson and Sharon Johnson.; two sister, two brothers and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
