David McSwain Sr.

David was born and raised in Portland Oregon. He was a fifth generation Oregonian. David attended Lake Ridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and played on the Varsity Basketball team. David married his first love, Danetta Ann Moody in 1978, and together had 3 children (David, Neila, and Elisa McSwain).

After David and Danetta divorced, he later had one set of twins, Dominiqe and Araina McSwain. David Finally settle down with his childhood friend Linda Walden who he loved and treasured. David was a True Portland Trail Blazers fan, and wouldn't miss watching a game to save his life. He also enjoyed football, and was a fervent Miami Dolphins fan. He loved talking on the phone and hanging out with his best friend Leroy who is also David, Neila, and Elisa's God father.

David loved the comfort of his home and Linda's cooking.

David is survived by 5 Children, 2 Grandchildren, 3 step children, and multiple step grandchildren and three sisters, Lynne Page, Jeanette Manning, and Janel McSwain. He now rests in paradise with his father Delbert McSwain, and his mother LaVerne McSwain-Burgess who loved him dearly.

He will forever be missed.
