Darrell Lee Louis was born in Portland, Oregon on December 19, 1961 to Robert Lee Louis and Alice l. Williams. He attended Boise Elementary School, also went onto Ulysses Grant High School but later graduated from Job Corp. Darrell worked as a supervisor in the janitorial department at Wackers for many years. Darrell enjoyed going to jazz festivals and camping out for every concert that came to Portland. He loved sports and playing dominos. His favorite sports team was the Portland Trail Blazers. He loved using the word (situation).
He was preceded in death by both his parents, Robert Lee Louis and Alice Lindsey; grandparents, Isabel Sanders, Alice Williams, Virginia Dixon, Nathan Louis; uncle Willie Potts; aunt Nannie Penn; granddaughter, YaShanee Vaughn; grandson, Malik Lee Stewart.
On January 11th, 2019 God called Darrell home. He leaves to cherish his memories, step father, Val Lindsey; children, Shaquita Louis, Iesha Louis-Torres (Vinnie), Jarrell Louis, Darrell Louis Williams (Linda), Jasmine Baker, Cindara Stewart, Malik Stewart, Dezjena Clay, Kobe Louis; siblings, Terrie Louis, Fonceil Louis-Ware (Ricci), Michael Louis (Flo) of Arizona, Donald Louis, Robert Louis, Denise Fuller; 18 grandkids, 5 great grandkids; aunt, Jimmie Mae Jones; special companion, Marie Greene and two children, Amy Price and Anna Works; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
