Cora Mae Taylor, 81, of Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2019 with her sons by her side.
She was born to Paten and Geneva Taylor, December 4, 1937, in Sturgeonville, Alberta Canada. Miss Cora moved to the states in the late 1950’s and settled in Portland.
She married the late Richard Brown Sr. and raised four sons, Richard, Rodrick, Reyburn and Reginald. Miss Cora is survived by two of her sons: Reyburn Brown and Reginald Brown. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Miss Cora was quite accomplished at crochet; she was immensely proud of her comforters and throws that she often sold at Christmas bazaars. She also enjoyed watching basketball, playing bingo and crossword puzzles. She had a vivacious personality and her hands were rarely still.
Miss Cora will truly be missed by the many lives she has touched.
