Clifford L. Murray

Clifford Lavern Murray, 77, peacefully closed his book of life in the early morning, on February 23, 2019, with his wife My Thi and daughters, Kelly Murray and Cathy Pham by his side. He is survived by sisters, Roberta Wilson and Florence Smith. Sons, Robert (Aya) and Marcus Murray. Grandchildren, Jalil, Michael, Derrick, Samad, Kierah, Kaia, and Mio. Great grandchildren, Akilah, Ahvianna, D.J. and Cecilia, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Clifford was born in Holdrege, Nebraska on June 29, 1941, to Robert and Thelma (Bryant) Murray. He grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, was a 1959 graduate of Central High School, and attended Peru State Teachers College. He worked for Armour Conagra Foods for more than 30 years and retired from TriMet Co., in 2007. Clifford lived life to the fullest, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He had a passion for camping and traveling with his wife and family. Our love for him will live on in our memories forever.

We often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep; and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon our cheeks. Remembering you is easy, we do it everyday; but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. We hold you tightly within our hearts and there you will remain; you see life goes on without you, but will never be the same.  

Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 11:00am at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry, Kansas.
