Cecilia Hudson Obituary
Cecilia Yvonne Hudson born October 10, 1938 to Travis P. Grundy and Minnie Earl Thomas in Domino, Tx. She was baptized at an early age. After completing High School, She moved to Pasco, Washington, where she met and married Richard Hudson Sr. They relocated to Portland, Oregon. Cecilia has resided in Portland, Oregon for more than fifty years.
Cecilia attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She was a very loved homemaker who opened her home to anyone in need. Her Spiritual Gift was “caring for others”. No one went without food, clean clothing or place to rest their head.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hudson Sr, her grandson Richard Nathanial, Mother Minnie Earl, Father T.P. Grundy, Step Father Billie Mikes, Sister Marsha Ann, Brothers: Elmer Ray Grundy, Thomas and Dino Mikes.
She leaves to love and cherish her memory seven children Dennis Ray, Leonard Fredrick, Sonia Theresa, Ira Earl, Richard Jr, Edward Thomas all of Portland, Oregon, Katherine Annette of San Diego, CA. 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren. Sisters: Charlie Spires, Bernice Burns, Billie Ruth Spires, Noble Jean Napoleon, Mae Warren, Liza Mikes and host of friends.
