Carlos Markien Hunter was born on September 25th, 1975 in Anchorage, Alaska to Alice and Henry Hunter and sister Pamela Hunter. Carlos left this world tragically on March 7th, 2019 when he was gunned down by the Vancouver police department. He was always a curious explorer from a young age finding joy in the outdoors, math and puzzles. At the age of 4 he received the greatest gift ever his little sister and shadow Nickeia Hunter.
Carlos attended Hough Elementary School, Shumway Middle School and Hudsons Bay High School. He is a graduate of charter college and held a 3.7 G.P.A. and was on the deans list. Carlos had a passion for tattooing and baking. He was known for his quick wit, being protective and his kind and loving spirit. He always fixed or tried to fix anything broken.
Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Hunter, his sister, Shavon Nicole Hunter and his brother, Hatchell Edward Hunter.
Carlos leaves behind his father, Henry Hunter Jr.; sister, Nickeia Hunter and Pamela Hunter; stepmom, Pandora Pierce; children, Alice Hunter, Gabriel Hunter, Leilani Hunter, Carlos Hunter, Amelyia Hunter, Mehlia Sperling and baby Heaven Hunter; stepdaughters, Sharia Pierce, and Amia Mata; stepson Rayshawn Bolds; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
