Brian Tate II Obituary

If there’s one thing that family and friends have said about Brian, it’s that he loved people unconditionally. He lit up any room that he walked into with his dimpled smile and electric personality.

And it was his laughter that has marked our hearts and minds forever. It was so distinctive that no matter what you were doing or going through, it jolted you with incredible joy.

He was afraid of heights so he went sky diving to conquer it. He lived by the motto, even if you’re scared do it anyway. And he encouraged his friends and family to do the same. He believed that you could do anything you set your mind to do.

He was not only health conscious but pursued health in every area of his life: he was a vegan, he competed in Tough Mudders, he hiked, he was a mixed martial artist, he went to college and he traveled.

He loved to debate but always with good intentions. He was witty and a big time jokester and made light of everything.

He has left us with a void in our hearts that will never be filled. But we are thankful for the memories of who he was and the kind of man he aspired to be for his family and friends. He may no longer be with us physically but we can still feel his playful presence.

A Celebration of Life will be held directly after the Memorial Service (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PDT) at Standford’s Restaurant (8416 SE Sunnyside Rd, Clackamas, OR 97015).
